I like how it is still fun and interesting to move around even though I have no idea what I'm doing. I explored and touched things for quite awhile. In the end I kept trying to touch a jellyfish creature and after the 3rd time I guess I died? It gave me a score of 3. I must say I was a bit disappointed that there was suddenly a score that appeared\/stayed as a HUD on my screen. Seems like this gameplay doesn't quite fit with a explicit score. If you travel fast enough you will dive at the direction of your choice, being able to defeat predators and other harmful creatures that inhabit this ocean. Search each screen for your eggs, which will revive you one point of health and for prey, which will provide you with the energy required to swim. Try to gather as much score as possible, whilst letting the ambiance play out around you.\r\n\r\nPERSONAL NOTES:\r\n\r\nThis has been a pretty damn, damn interesting experiment. I'll get onto details pretty shortly...\r\n\r\nWhether you have any kind of faith or not, whether you believe in reincarnation, or preincarnation or whatever incarnations that may or may exist, I decided after much thought to build my game based on a very strong, very prominent dream, vision, out of body experience or what have you that I had experienced a while ago. It's nothing much I'm sure, but I hope\r\nthat it provides you with something worth-while.\r\n\r\nI don't usually delve into these kind of things I find it very hard to explain it to people. I'm fully aware of these\r\nexperiences to be nothing more than my imagination running riot in my head or hallucinations or other forms of fancy\r\nbut this is something quite personal to me, in a holistic, quasi-spiritual manner, and while I'm not quite 100%\r\nBuddhist in my viewpoints and beliefs I do tend to find myself swaying towards this world faith far more than the\r\nothers I know of, for some reason it seems to make more sense to me, that there isn't an all-caring God watching us\r\nat every moment, but the potential of a far greater existence to our own and our current lives is something that\r\nI do genuinely believe in be it God or the Universe or whatever you want to call it.\r\n\r\nThis game was built upon one of these experiences I had, where I was swimming through an alien world with bizarre and unusual creatures but with a strange sense of familiarity. Beyond our World is really more of a sandbox more than anything else, there is a score-count, but a lot of it's focus is on the ambiance of the ocean itself. \r\n\r\nI hope folks enjoy it, it was a really interesting experiment and I'd definitely love to make some more ambient focused, dream\/vision driven games sometime in the future. \r\n\r\nCheers! :D","title":"Beyond our World"}
