Game of Hearts by Zolomon
Game of Hearts
Beneath the surface of the skin, a great battle is taking place. A human is being attacked by an evil bacteria and its heart must be protected at all costs!
Game of Hearts is a two player game.
Player 1 controls the Bacteria with with the left joystick and the L1 button to shoot infections towards the heart.
Player 2 controls the White Blood Cell with the right joystick and the R1 button to eat infections sent towards the heart.
With each infection reaching the heart, the heart gets sicker and sicker and has to work harder to survive. If it has to work too hard the human will have a heart attack and die -> Game Over!
Who is at the top of the food chain, man or bacteria? May the game begin!
Participant list:
Adam Politanski
Bengt Ericsson

It would be very nice if you added information about the two other developers of this project to the description :)
Kivifreak - We only managed to implement one of the endings in time, unfortunately. You can win as the attacking player. Once enough bacteria enter the heart, it explodes ;)
I can also add something i realised after creating this game... it's a highly personal thing for me. I recently had to undergo a thymorectomy, a serious surgery where they cut open my rib cage in similar fashion to this game. I guess you could call it therapeutic game design :)
