For fishing, you must click once on the planet. When it says "catch" you have to click many time with the left button of your mouse, to fully complete the "fishing" bar before end of the timer.
This was very relaxing and enjoyable.
At first I didn't understand that I was supposed to click the fishing button again when it said "catch" but after figuring that out the experience was nice!
Damn, getting the message ShiVa3D Plugin has crashed. Please leave a comment on my page if you know how I can resolve this, would very much like to play. From the screenshots it looks awesome!
Very beautiful work ! It is so lovely that you really want to explore the game. But I had a really hard time understanding the game mechanics. Also the purpose of the game is a little but unclear. Maybe you could improve the informations provided to the player ?
Took me a while to figure out the controls properly. It's a relaxing game. Except for too much right clicking. And wait, how did I kill that planet!? It wasn't my intention, I swear! ;-;
I love the artwork and the sound/music. I also had trouble figuring out what the point was... I managed to fish planets, but I couldn't seem to buy anything. The whale planet thing is awesome :)
It was a bit confusing at first, but it seems like a really nice game. (although I randomly encountered a bug with the timer / fishing bars, the timer didn't move and it would just reset without giving me the reward)
I really liked the art...
I LOVE the art style you've gone for here - really appealing environment. It was a bit confusing to work out though, and the movement felt sticky at times. Really lovely on the whole though.
Incredible! Super awesome artstyle and presentation. The whole mood is fantastic.
Thank you so much for even styling the webpage and the manual :) Very polished entry.
It's right clicking not left clicking - quite important and this is what i did wrong.
nice mechanics, nice mood.. but.. i really didn't find the gameplay that enjoying.. and not being able to turn off the sound or atleast turn them down made me quite irritated :/ sorry.. i really want to enjoy the game but being forced to not listen to my own music wasn't that enjoyable.. :/
My experience with this game was kind of interesting since I always find cool how can some people work 3D on a game jam. I think the game was very promising, but you had no time to make it complete. The overall idea seems nice, it looks extremely friendly (the home whale is awesome) and the graphics are really gorgeous (reminding me of amazing graphics from PS/N64 era), but the game ends up being repetitive after a while. I believe a little bit more polishing on the game design, a nice story telling and side quests will make this game really interesting to play. Nice work.
So this was great. I really enjoyed myself and I hope you guys continue to develop the game. Here are my notes:
1. I did find a bug where if I clicked too rapidly - cutting the fishing short - and then started it again and was successful, I would not get the reward and the "ta da!" sound just kept repeating.
2. Maybe other people found it different, but I'd prefer the left click be fishing and the right click be shooting. It's way harder to fish than to shoot and it should be the opposite since you use shooting so infrequently. That was probably by design, but the game is difficult enough without choosing the weaker click finger.
3. I'm not sure that I agree with this being "beneath the surface" since it's in space. I still think you did a great job and you are "fishing" so it makes some sense.
That's pretty much it. I otherwise really enjoyed the game and I think that there is a ton of potential here for a full release.
Thanks for sharing and thank you again for playing/rating my game! :D
