Palkheun Shape by Kurulla_Se0

[raw]
made by Kurulla_Se0 for LD35 (JAM)
Hey everyone! It was a super-exciting challenge for us, there were tons of ideas, and finally we are glad to end up with a pretty nice result (hope it actually is).

Here you have three moving objects and three types of coloured blocks. Every object can move on the block of the same colour. Remember control buttons and get ready for running shifting shapes!

Made by me and lekaleksay

Thank you much for your time!

Nice polished game, addictive and fun. Minimal neon graphics are a plus.
I somewhat imagine this as a music game, it would work even better.
Nice work

Decent graphics and relaxing gameplay. I made 1200 point, then after a long empty section suddenly came something and I did not react in time. Sneaky game. :)

Wow, thank you! We are happy you appreciate this thing, guys)

@AnaGF, I like the advice about music game. We had some thoughts of improving this work afterwords, and it definitely could be making sense.

Nice game. 2 things I want to mention. 1- I love that the keys was in the RGB order so I could remember the order of colours easily. 2- Speed up the game a bit quicker imo, gets boring if it takes forevor to be really fast

Hi, nice game ! We're realizing a video with several games of the Ludum Dare #35.
Can you add your game on indiexpo.net ? (it's free)
So we can include also your game in the video ;)
p.s. write #LDJAM in the game's description

Nice and polished game.

I would add different platforms in future versions to maintain the tension (e.g. some rainbow looping :) ).

Nice little rhythm game. I wish the difficulty ramped up a little faster, it was seemed quite monotonous to me for a while there. Overall fun and solidly built.

A solid little game, it would be nice if the difficulty increased faster. Good job!

High score: 3453, speed 15.

The graphics were nice, but the shapes didn't look like they were really on the "road." Would've been better with just a single line of lights right under the shape instead of what you had, IMO.

The sound and look really fit each other perfectly though, and the game's a pretty fun idea. Nice work.

We've corrected the speed function and changed "the track". It seems to be really better now.

The concept is pretty solid indeed, and the game plays really nicely! Love the neon look of the game and the soundtrack.

I though this was a rhythm-based game, though. :P

I understood from the get go about the score indicator, but the speed and lifebar were something that I didn't understood right away, so try to put clues in it! ;)

Controls are responsive, but overall gameplay starts to feel repetitive after a while, specially with the lifebar blinking out of sync. Maybe adding rhythm syncronization and adding visual elements as you progress or make "combos" or something to appeal a bit more in a future version? :P

But great entry, really! :D

@yuigoto, later this thing is to be a part of a bigger game. We'll think how to deal with what you noticed!

People, you are awesome:) Final thank you all for inspirational words and proper criticism.
