Hey
This is my first LD game: Minecart Rollercoaster!

To move around in your minecart, use arrow keys
To Jump, use Z
To tip over your minecart, use X

Have fun riding around these abandoned mine shafts and try to ride as long as possible and dodge all the obstacles.

Kind of hard to control the jumping. LOVE the pixel art!

Heh, are you meant to get stuck on the ceiling for a moment if you jump from the top row? A good time anyway.

Pretty cute game... though I managed to get a game over AND survive hopping to the next cart - was rather cute to push my cart around curiously while the game said it was over. Good game overall. Welcome to LD!

Nice concept. The big thing I miss is a replay button to instantly jump back in there

The missing restart button really ruins it for me

Congrats on finishing!

At first glance the graphics are really cool, but you might have gone a bit overboard with the stretched pixely style. The camera is also a bit too close to the player, so anticipating jumps is really hard. Kudos on the animation though, I really like how the character tips over the minecart.

Please, take the following as constructive criticism, because you have a good idea, but a poor execution, and you could easily improve it with a bit of effort.
The graphics are very good, but the gameplay is boring because there are very few obstacles, I don't like having to close the game to start again, and the game don't ends: there's a point where everything you can do is seeing your cart move in a empty rail, without obstacles of any type, until you close the game.
It gives the impression that you spend a lot of time in the graphics and you forgot that you were doing a game.

Nice little game. Really great graphics! It could have done with some audio, though...

Well, there are some things you should fix...
1) The game likes to throw random error messages at me. That's not a good sign.
2) The font is hard to read - make your own bitmap font or don't use interpolation.
3) Using small resolution for these types of games is not really a good idea because you need to see what's in front of you. Go with 16:9 next time you make a game, trust me.

Anyway, the gameplay seemed quite solid, the graphics were good (especially animations).
You did a pretty well job, it just needs a little polishing and it'll be great.

Pretty fun once I figured out how not to kill myself 50 times. The jumping out of the cart mechanic was initially really confusing! Never found a use for the cart tilt move.
