Leaving Home by sbarrio

[raw]
made by sbarrio for LD29 (JAM)
Just a micro-demo of a simple point&click adventure game where you play as an amnesic astronaut trying to discover who he is and how did he got to this strange and deserted orange planet.

Thanks for checking it out!

(If you want to keep posted on news about this game check these out: http://www.strandedsoft.com/ - https://twitter.com/StrandedSoft )

-Notes-

- I'd recommend to play it on Chrome/Safari (enchant.js is a bit picky)

This can bet the start of a wonderful game. I like the simplified graphic and atmosphere of it. It touches the theme only at the end. Some audio would be nice.

Great point and click game!, the art style is minimal and works the ambiance but that walk cycle just totally throws me out of the atmosphere, great intro puzzle you can't go wrong with the old "rock-on-the-button" technique.. I would definitely play this if you continued working on it!

I've tried using Chrome, but didn't work.

It's a good game. Clean graphics and nice concept. You shouldve added more background audio though but overall its good :)

Short but interesting. Didn't realize I can go to next screen by going to window border. A text on exits would be useful. It was also unusual that there is no text on objects until you get fairly close to them. I liked the atmosphere. It reminded of Another World. Especially at the end. Would be interested in seeing where this goes.

I would love it if you continued with the rest of the game.

Loved the art style and mood. Even tho I saw the rock, I couldn't pick it up the first time I visited that screen. I would like to see some mouse over text when you hover over things. Great job tho, would play the full game!

Nice minimal background, and the whole silene made the amtosphere even more odd :) please continue working on this.

Thanks a lot for the comments!, I'm quite surprised by everybody's reaction considering it is my first LD submission ever :)

I have a short story in mind for the game and I'm quite motivated to finish it, so it may be done in the near future.

Thanks again!

Nice to see a point and click but wish I had more feedback when my mouse is over something interactive. Like the simple art style.

Not a bad start. The art is simple but pretty atmospheric. I like the streamlined point-and-click gameplay. Has a lot of potential!

This seems like it would be a good game, but it's too short and unfortunately I had to rate it poorly. The part that actually has to do with the theme (the part beneath the surface) is "to be continued"!

This seems like it's worth expanding on.
