At first I was a bit skeptical but I actually like it :)

I think it wasn't a good idea to use the Numpad as only control for shooting. I'm trying to play this on a laptop and everything I can do is move. You should change or add another keys for shooting.

Once I started to get the hang of it it was really fun! Reminds me a bit of Ikaruga.

I made it so long I was reset to level 1 and the music stopped. I had to check the comments to figure out the numpad was in use not the standard 1-2-3. Not a common control choice.

Goodjob, I liked the gameplay and idea. I think you should consider adding alternate keys for the attacks though, numpad isnt the most convenient for a lot of users.

So I liked the music a lot in this game, specifically the intro screen! The graphics for the game were simple, but I liked them, and I think that the transforming bullets thing goes very well with the theme! Agin music is great and helped through the many deaths :P

Thank you all so far for your helpful comments and feedback! Yes, I was going to put different controls in (using j,k, and l instead of numbers), but it was gettting too close to the deadline and unfortunately I can't change it! Thank you so much for all the support though!

UPDATE: I know that I cannot edit the game files while still in the competition (it's against the rules), but on my itch.io page, I have updated the game to support J, K, and L buttons for shooting! Plus fixed the music not looping! The power of feedback!

I REALLY like this entry! The mechanic is interesting, the gameplay is fun. The graphics are simple but the audio is really good. Also, the puns on the game over screen are amazing. "Rekt-angle" LOL! Love the entry, great job!

Very good implementation and dynamic gameplay. It's often the most important part, as the dynamic game even without top graphics will be fun. Good job.

Well-rounded for the entry! I liked the graphics, humor and sound ;)

There's a "development build" label on the bottom right corner that gets in the way and covers your in game score.

You probably didn't have time for this, but it'd be great to have a feedback when you hit the enemy with the wrong shape and when you hit but don't destroy it

The text for this was pretty funny, liked the way you added humour to the game. Music was nice and the different shoot shape buttons worked well for me on my laptop.
