Good Job overall. It's a cute little game. I thought the Arrows were pointing to goals I wanted to hit though. They are apparently pointing towards obstacles. After I understood that it I started to at least stop losing as much points. I still managed to maintain a solid 0 score though. ><

@LastResortGames you are right, the arrow is ambiguous to mark the obstacles. I should have used something else (a 'danger' road sign, a skull with cross bones, or some other thing)

Really fun, small game. I love the smooth physics.

Fun controls, though a little difficult to get used to. Fun though and funny.

Never before have I crammed so much oil down the throat of a child.

The one critique I have is that the viewport of the game feels a little slim, and it's not that it takes away from gameplay directly. But you lose a lot of the sensation of depth with the Kid always being a relative distance away.

Not sure how to fix that, But it might be something to keep in mind when doing diggy games.

Why I would feed someone oil I'm not sure, but this game was great fun, before being melted by magma. ;) I found the controls were very slippery, but that might just be me.

Never thought I'd have to feed oil to a child. :P Had fun playing it. The drill moved a bit too fast to my liking but that's the challenge I guess. :)

Fun little game - really hard to master, I hit a lot more rocks than oil pockets -- I tend to try to avoid everything that huddles towards me for some reason, regardless of what it is.

Hard to control, but that's the point. :) Very fun, I can see challenging my friends to beat my score in this.

I think it would be easier to play if your drill head would automatically point straight down after a movement to the left/right. So you have to press the S key, otherwise it's very hard to control. It would also have been great if there was a funny explanation why the child wants to eat all the oil.

The game is fun and the controls are nice. Casual enough to be appealing for smartphone market, specially if you work with accelerometer. Nice job!

An oil-eating kid. Boy that brings back memories. Why the last time I saw one of those was back in ... oh wait ... I've never seen an oil-eating kid before.

Interesting game :) The controls were smooth and nice. I do hope the child is ok after eating so much oil.

Nice short one. If you go in the maximum horizontal speed, the drill hole is not drawn connected anymore. But this didn't take away the fun of the game. Oh, and controls are a bit too sensitive for my taste. Slower overall pace and more inert controls would make for a stronger feeling of "I'm deep underground and have to drill a hole".

Smooth controls, simple but effective idea. I don't get the link with the main theme of LD, though

I like the mechanics and the general idea of the game. I had a lot of trouble controlling it because the controls were so sensitive that I was careening all over the screen. Maybe that was intentional, but it felt like the player has no inertia and made it more about fighting the controls. My score was 10666 barrels, with 14/13 oil/rocks.

29291 barrels of oil. Fun concept! Could do with a simple soundloop thingy.

Love the premise for the game! Controls were a bit to sensitive for me, but there was a nice moment where I was almost slaloming down left and right hitting oil patches. Maybe you could add some extra benefit to players that carve out a smooth path in the rock?
