In each playtrough you get one chance to win, and if you die you die. Also you only get one mechanic to actively beat the game with, other than your wits and reflexes\/luck.\r\n\r\nThe game did not turn out how I wanted. I kinda understand now why they say that games are never really done, they sort of escape. Anyway, it is out now. I learned a lot, I am a proud that I managed to finish something playable. But sad that I aimed a bit too high.\r\n\r\nLessens learned:\r\nCollision code is actually pretty simple, no need to spend 7 hours trying to make it work using advanced math.\r\nYou really need to think before writing stuff in WebGL.\r\nStop reinventing the wheel, I decided that code everything from scratch, Collision code, tile rendering, sprites, pathfinding.. \r\nCoffeeScript is cool and weird at the same time, but I like the minimalistic syntax.\r\n\r\nSource will come in shortly, but my code is seriously very messy.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n","title":"one chance to escape"}
