I really enjoyed the ambience. The only problem with being so text-heavy is that I noticed a few typos\/awkward phrasing that would've been easier to catch in a non-jam setting. I'd be curious to see this expanded into something bigger. One complaint is that the text fading was a bit long, though."},{"author_name":"pixlark","author_uid":"64818","time":"Apr 18, 2016 @ 2:26am","epoch":1460946060,"text":"Decent little adventure. My biggest gripe is that the directional buttons are a) in different places each time and b) take forever to fade in.\r<br\/>\r<br\/>I didn't finish because it was fairly difficult to tell what was happening in the story and what the clues I picked up even meant.\r<br\/>\r<br\/>The ambience is good though and the random generation is certainly interesting."},{"author_name":"MightyToastStudio","author_uid":"91074","time":"Apr 25, 2016 @ 6:02pm","epoch":1461607020,"text":"A good adventure, the only problem is the structure of the mansion because sometimes i felt a bit lost."},{"author_name":"Reis Mahnic","author_uid":"52764","time":"May 2, 2016 @ 8:17pm","epoch":1462219920,"text":"Great job. I think you could have made the building a bit smaller (I got lost a few times) but you clearly have a great sense of what this space looks and feels like; great atmosphere.\r<br\/>I do think the text could fade in a bit faster, as mentioned by others.\r<br\/>Love text adventures and this was a good bit of fun to go through."},{"author_name":"iceburg7","author_uid":"43569","time":"May 7, 2016 @ 7:59pm","epoch":1462650840,"text":"Very interesting use of shapeshifting, and good work on the mood as well."},{"author_name":"rjhelms","author_uid":"39055","time":"May 7, 2016 @ 8:23pm","epoch":1462652280,"text":"This is really cool - great job creating a solid mood with so little. I like the angle you've taken with the theme here - it's subtle, but ends up pretty compelling.\r<br\/>\r<br\/>It would be really cool to expand this, to have multiple endings and actually tie the hints into the game play more."},{"author_name":"AnaGF","author_uid":"56020","time":"May 8, 2016 @ 11:14pm","epoch":1462748940,"text":"Concept is cool, nice little story based.\r<br\/>However, all options were always Go North, South, East or West. The level shifts in reaction to the player, but there is essentially no way to know what causes what. I hoped that created a tension, fitting in the horror theme.\r\nThe level is mostly randomly generated: doors and passages will close differently each time. It's important to know, though, that there is NO randomness once you have entered the mansion: everything is calculated, and you technically have control over everything, even though you don't know how.\r\n\r\nTell me if you liked it, tell me if you liked the ambience, or thought it was clich\u00e9 and couldn't get in the mood.","title":"They are Missing"}
