This game was made by Zettelkasten (Programming) and Tandorel (Concept, Design).
Sadly, half way through the Jam Tandorel got sick and couldn't continue.

The game is not complete, but playable. Please excuse this!

Hi, nice game and congratulations ! Simple mechanics that still offered a decent amount of challenge. We're realizing a video with several games of the Ludum Dare #36. We made the same thing at the previous jam.

Can you add your game on indiexpo.net ? (it's free)
So we can include also your game in the video ;)
p.s. write #LDJAM in the game's description.

It seems like you planned out great stuff but you had to spam same units because of the events to make it playable. But it has the vibe for a nice tower defense game. Sorry to hear about your friend, hope he gets well. Keep up the good work then!

It's a good tower defense, if you continue working on it, it can become great!
The game froze on wave 7/8, not sure why, but after a quit & restart, it didn't happen again.
good job!

I get the error:

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: com/zettelnet/ld36/Main : Unsupported major.minor version 52.0

I have Java 7 installed, since Java is backwards compatible, please compile for lower version, this will support many more users.

Sadly, the library we are using requires Java 8 to work. I would recommend to update to that Java version. Sorry!

Classic well tested formula! It was very smooth and nice, though I wished there was some sort of grid displayed where you could place your units. Very fun, but too easy!
