It Came- Was it from us or not?
Anyway, it's a semi-stealth based game where you play the part of a transforming monster who moves through space ships and attacks them.
Player Forms:
Sneaking- Small enough to pass through vents and the fastest form (the darker portions of the map.)
Hide- Transforms into a box that can attack (which is immobile but deals large amounts of damage when it attacks.)
Eating- Larger form that eats enemies when it attacks healing itself while dealing damage (slow, provokes attacks.)
Human- Has a ranged attack that deals a point of damage to yourself per attack (attacking may provoke attacks.)
Controls- Look at the Options in game (mostly keyboard control.)
Levels-
3 Currently, intended to do 5, to tell the story of the monster's escape.
TUTORIAL
The intent is for the player to navigate through the map performing some sort of action. The action is described in the text:
Dome: Get to the red square (It's at the opposite point of the level.)
Pod: Kill the single guard.
Shuttle: Killing all guards.
Moving
Moving is done by pressing forward and then turning with left/right. Movement doesn't create sound (unless the player is running) but might cause an enemy to see you. Vision is close to the extent of the map for a guard (much further than yours) but due to how few 'rays' I'm using they might not see you if you're in a blind spot.
Actions
Pressing A will swap which form you'll transform into next.
Holding S will cause you to swap forms after a brief 'charge' time.
Holding Z will cause you to run-- which doubles speed and causes 'noise' and may attract a guard.
Pressing X will attempt to attack if ready; hitting an object will cause sound. Hitting a guard will deal damage to them (For the 'Hide' form this is currently buggy due to 'range' considerations.)
Holding X will attack as soon as the attack option is ready.
