Kil10 by JM-DG
For my first ludum dare, I decided to try creating my first #OUYA / androide game ever. This was an interesting experience which resulted with the creation of a simple multiplayer shooter.
Despite having to work my normal day job *friday and monday* (I started saturday 9:00 and finished sunday 20:00), I managed to create a working game.
The concept was that every 10 seconds new powerups / weapons were assigned to the players, weather and environment were changing.
I did not have time to incorporate the 10 seconds theme into the gameplay. :(
Schedule:
8 hours setting up my programming environment.
9 hours compiling an empty window in which I was receiving controllers messages.
17 hours programming the actual game.
One thing for sure, I'll keep working on this game until it's as good as I want it to be.
