Our entry for the 35th Ludum Dare Game Jam! This is our 13th entry in a row.

*Note*
Mac and Linux builds have not been tested. WebGL build on Itch.io and Embedded here has one or two visual oddities but is fine to rate for those that can't download the Windows version.

Nice and innovative mechanic, simple and good controls. It was kind of hard to see the projectiles but that may have been part of the challenge. I would maybe make the different shape/colors shoot in a different way or different projectile just to add some variation but still a great game!

I just feel the bullets too slow. It is a good game at all. Good job.

Fun little game, got a bit bored with it after round 4. Maybe having some faster bullets would've made it more fun. Other than that cool little use of theme

the mixture of slow bullets with fast movement make for an interesting gameplay challenge. Nice work!

Fun game, would have liked if it was a bit more fast paced. Great job anyway!

Pretty simple but at the same time fun! Not much to learn to just jump in and play after a few tries. Good job!

Good use of shapeshifter mechanics to make a bullet-hell game! The bullets are slow enough to build up and trap the player, at the same time giving them time to switch to the appropriate shape. Good job!

Overall nice, but not something I would play for a while. Additionally, enemy projectiles are a little hard to see. Good job though!

Nice game. Pretty hard to play. It takes some time to get used to the controls, but it's a fun game anyway. Good use of theme.

Bullets everywhere! I like that you were able to make an instructions-mode in the short timeframe of a game jam.

I like the idea! it's pretty interesting when so many bullets flying on entire one screen, my strategy of attacking or dodging is changing all the time, quite exciting.

Good job :D

It's strange, there is a slow feeling but the game is hard.
Maybe less bullets but faster bullets would be better?
Anyway, good job.

Really interesting game.
Probably with some polishing effects would be really cool, especially multiplayer.
You should have displayed the shape options somewhere, at least for beginners.

Note: for Unity WebGL u need to set the viewport on build less than LudumDare limits (like 800x500 for example)

Cheers

I like the old school vibes it givs, but with new cool mechanics. The controls are good and the enemies are challenging, thumbs up!

Ha this is very simple but quite fun!
Its hard how you can kill yourself by hitting your own bullets after shifting.

The audio is not high-tech but it fits the art style.
Good job!

My main issue with this game was that it was really hard to see the bullets flying from the enemies. I know it was supposed to help with who was safe to touch, but thats what shapes and color are for! Not a bad game, just needs some polish, keep up the good work!

The bullets are a bit slow, but otherwise this is a pretty cool game! It looks good and the Xbox controller support is a nice addition. I'm sad there isn't any music, but the awesome menu graphics make up a lot of it :)

Nice game, pretty challenging for me. I liked the visual part and the sound effects.

Nice! Love how your explosion blows away all enemies and bullets. But having to shapeshift with the number keys is awkward, because I can't use WASD at the same time. How about mapping the mouse wheel as well? Apart from that, the controls are pretty tight. Audio is a bit minimalist, but works fine and doesn't get annoying.

Seems like there's is a simple technique to win, just stay in circle mode and destroy squares and triangles, and since the circles aren't able to destroy the circles, the game go on for quite some time.

Challenging game with a nice shape changing mechanic. Hard to see the enemy bullets at times but still fun to play.
