Play Time's Over by Broxxar
A fun & fancy platform adventure where every ten seconds, a new rule is introduced to make things more difficult for the young adventurer!
I had intended to enter this in the compo, but my Sunday was way to busy to get in the hours needed to finish this up. I ended up being pressed for time today as well. Nevertheless, I managed to produce a reasonably nice looking platform, with smooth controls and tied in with this LD's theme very nicely.

Congrats to all on another successful Ludum Dare.
Cheers,

Fun to play, good job!
The audio really fit this game, and the level is nicely designed. Enjoyed this, great work~
You're not only a hypocrite, but also a manipulative liar. You go ahead and contact the moderator, I would love to let them know about what you've been up to on my entry as well.
I'd like the sequence of nots - not jump, not flower, not troll =D
Yeah I think I got into the original scope of the project in my post-mortem. The original plan was 8-10 rules, and the last rule would always be "reach the finish" where after ten seconds you'd be killed indefinitely ahaha.
Thanks for the insight, I'll give yours a play when I'm back to my PC tomorrow!
Graphics, music and effects were nice, really polished game.
1. make the restriction apply only after one or two seconds the letter is presented to the player. While playing for the first time, I was running left and when the "don't run left" letter appeared, I lost a life.
2. add icons to the letters, and place them in the screen (maybe as a row at the top edge?). So the information is always available. At one point I was so concentrated double-jumping that I couldn't read the letter.
I could pay for this game :)
