>> IF THIS APP DOES NOT RUN, PLEASE CHECK THE "Fixes" LINK FOR THE NECESSARY PREREQS <<

*Prerequisites (PLEASE READ IF APP DOES NOT START)*
In order to run 10 Seconds of Power, you will need a Windows computer with the .NET 4.0 framework, DirectX, and OpenAL installed. I have included setups for these in the "Fixes" link provided.

*Controls*
Arrow Keys ==== Move Ralph
Space Bar ===== Jump
X or Z ======== Shoot

*Story*
The legendary badass computer genius known as Ralph has created a state-of-the-art PowerComputer capable of bending the very fabric of space itself. UNfortunately, this wonderful machine has attracted some unwanted attention: An army of cyborg zombies of unknown origin are approaching with a ravenous hunger for the cybernetic brain at the core of the PowerComputer!
Ralph activates the computer's terramorphing program to slow down the hordes, runs a query for advanced weaponry, furrows his brow, locks, and loads.

*Objective*
Shoot the oncoming zomborgs before they can reach Ralph or his Computer!
Every 10 Seconds the PowerComputer will change the surrounding terrain and grant Ralph new and improved weaponry.

*Notes/Tips*
- You can jump up through platforms, but can't drop down through them
- The Zomboids become faster and more plentiful with each wave

I was really exited about this one, clicking the .exe doesn't do anything on my machine though

Man, it's rough when they drop down directly on top of the computer and you have to shoot them out of the air. (A fire up/down would work well for this.) Nice work. How'd you manage that platforming AI/pathfinding?

Nice simple game! It took me minute to figure out the baddies' objective. When I did, I resorted to baby-guarding :) Nice work.

@ghostmaple the AI is actually pretty rudimentary, if they are below the computer, they check to see if there's a platform above them, and if there is, they jump. Still I'm kind of proud of it, and I was ridiculously gleeful when I first saw it it action.
I'll see if I can do something about the compatibility. If there's a message, could you let me know what it says?

I like it! Took me a little while to figure it out, but it was fun, and I like the terrain "generation" and pathfinding!

Nice! Reminds me of the old NES game Super Snow Bros. except with a terminal in the middle of the screen :) With some variety in the platform styles, it would work wonders graphically!

I wish I could drop down somehow?

Could be increased in difficulty a bit
sound?

Uff it gets annoying when the enemies simply drop down to the computer. Could use a drop down as I have to wait till the terrain regenerates. I do agree with @ghostmaple that diagonal shooting would have been a blast :D

It's very nice, but I really felt the lack of any message when you lose.

It worked on mine! I found this game really simple but fun. I featured it in my LD27 compilation video series, if you'd like to check it out :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zzQ8TXQohmI
