made by SirSoltex for LD35 (COMPO)
Shift, throw and manipulate blocks and balls to unlock doors and progress.
build stairs out of block to place balls in their respective containers till you get the final room.

My second Ludum Dare!
The green meter on the top right is jetpack fuel (jumping is hard with JBullet), if you use it all up you wont be able to use it again till it refils.

Note: there was sound but i had to remove it due to a bug in the exporting process :/

Controls:
wasd - move
LClick - pick up
space - use jetpack

Cool idea, similiar ish to the game I also made (mine involves lights). A couple tips I would give if you don't mind, are firs to change the clipping bounds of the camera so that you don't see inside the cubes that you are moving. Second, make the objects that you are interacting with a little farther a way, it became very difficult to walk AND move a block a the same time unless I walked realllly slow. Overall, cool concept! :D - Hyden

I agree with Hyden, it's hard to see when you're carrying something, maybe you could make it so you can change the distance of the object you're holding with the mouse wheel or something. Also, sometimes it's a bit hard to tell apart blocks from other blocks and walls, you could have added some sort of texture to the blocks. Anyway, it's pretty interesting to mess around with physics. I liked the final room :D

I just found a cool bug: when you're holding something, press and release right click and the block will float in place :D

Infinite flight on a cube? Possible. Locking yourself up in the last room? Possible. Extreme velocity using a spinning ball? Possible. Jumping? Impossible. Rating this game good? Possible.

Physics sometimes do weird stuff in this game.. Nice entry for a compo though!

So, if I understand correctly, I need to bring the orange ball to the orange rectangle at the top of the room, isn't it, in order to open the orange door?

If yes, that's cool, but it's really hard to pile up the blocks to get to the rectangle, since the block you take can rotate in all directions. Maybe you can make the block fixed so it's more easy to pile it up on the other ones?
