One of my favourites so far. I am always fond of text adventures and yours is great. Really well executed and a fair amount of depth for such a short time. You're right about the ending, did leave me scratching my head and I'm not 100% sure I fully get the connection to the theme but loving this either way. Well done and good luck!"},{"author_name":"RIPPorkins","author_uid":"111142","time":"Sep 1, 2016 @ 3:03am","epoch":1472698680,"text":"That was a cool game! Definitely wished It could have gone for longer (I actually went through the code to make sure I didn't miss anything!)\r<br\/>\r<br\/>It would be cool if 'help' would give you a list of commands you can do, instead of just a hint."},{"author_name":"MiniBobbo","author_uid":"22584","time":"Sep 1, 2016 @ 5:04am","epoch":1472705940,"text":"This was fun. I'm proud to admit that I passed the phantom without needing a hint!\r<br\/>\r<br\/>The graphics and mood fit the game perfectly. I'm sure this is how old text games back in the day must have been, but I had never experienced this myself, so this was definitely unique to me. I also love the humor in the story. There are a few hints if you try and whip it, go east, sleep, and look. If those stump you, try "hint"!\r<br\/>\r<br\/>@squirrelbot: Unfortunately it is entirely linear. It's a text controlled game where you lead an explorer through a perilous journey with plenty of surprise twists. The ending might also leave you scratching your head!\r\n\r\nFor the best shot at success, use short, imperative commands like \"walk\", \"look\", and \"eat\". If ever you get stuck, \"help\" should provide you a large hint.\r\n\r\nIf you're a Unix user, try using some of the more well known Unix commands. You might find some fun surprises.\r\n\r\nApologies for no sound. I guess this really is Ancient Technology!\r\n\r\nAny feedback is very welcome, and thank you for playing Endeavour.","title":"Endeavour"}
