Nice snake version. Graphics get flickery sometimes and the controls are somewhat hard, but overall the theme idea interpretation is good!

The game takes a little while to get into. The early stages of play aren't particularly exciting. As the player starts learning more about the systems in the game, and the fight on the virus gets more frantic, the game really shines. I worry that, because of the short play time a lot will give for LD games, many might not get to that point. The only suggestion for change that I'd make is for controls. I don't necessarily mind the "tank" controls, but it's be great if the snake stopped turning when I left go of left or right, rather than continuing to drift. It made it difficult to target pickups.

That escalated quickly! I never really felt the rounded turn snake games were all that 'tight' control wise due to getting into situations where i'm spinning in circles around what I want to pick up, but it's definitely useful here due to having to dodge bullets. Some sort of counter for how large a tail you have could have been nice.

Well, I sure didn't know what I was doing until I read the comment someone posted about it being a snake game.

A little too easy to die, and if you find yourself too close to the wall, due to your fixed turn radius and speed there's nothing you can do about it.
