I had a lot of trouble figuring out what I was supposed to be doing; I added some stuff to my cities and made some money, but it seemed to move pretty slowly, and sometimes my progress was erased.  I didn't fully understand how time was supposed to be going backward, either - maybe that's why my upgrades were removed?  Or was it because I was attacked?  Anyway, interesting and quite detailed, but for me, not quite enough help in figuring out the goal."}],"images":["ld26\/7449-b70c088877013d92362053855fa8fc1c.jpg","ld26\/7449-e3b3a3f5acc5276502d1f156b9aac17c.jpg"],"links":[{"url":"http:\/\/www.mediafire.com\/?nj117m4xt1fo7pf","text":"Windows"}],"metadata":{"g_key":"25771","g_author":"7449","g_event":"LD26","g_eventkey":"16","g_subevent":"JAM","g_urlkey":"25801","g_title":"Project Hourglass","g_status":"UCHK1","g_place":"99999","g_commentcount":"5","g_site2_node_id":"0","g_hide":"N","g_has_icon":"Y","g_rqueue":"0","g_random":"0"},"nds":[],"node":null,"orig_images":["http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/compo2\/\/233892\/7449-shot0.PNG-eq-900-500.jpg","http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/compo2\/\/233892\/7449-shot1.png-eq-900-500.jpg"],"text":"Project Hourglass is a strategy game inspired around Sim City and Civilization style games. The difference is instead of time flowing forwards... it flows backwards.\r\n\r\nThe relation of the theme to this game comes in the time flow, we thought that things were more simple or \"minimalistic\" in older times, so instead of a normal linear storyline that advances... we made one that destroyed the progress mankind had made over the last 2000 years.\r\n\r\nThe gameplay is a contrast to the art in this way, a very complex game style vs a very minimalistic story aspect and minimalistic art style.\r\n\r\nIf you want to get a better knowledge of the scene without going in game, you can watch our YouTube video made by some colleagues. http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=MAa2v6SNggY\r\n\r\nProject Designers: \r\nGabriel Silvarredonda\r\nJose \"Steve\" Ubach\r\n\r\nProgrammer: \r\nGabriel Silvarredonda\r\n\r\nStoryline Design: \r\nJose \"Steve\" Ubach\r\n\r\nGraphics Designers: \r\nJacob Lake\r\nGabriel Silvarredonda\r\n\r\nMusic:\r\nJacob Lake\r\n\r\nPromotional Video:\r\nNatalia Blanc\r\nBrennan Lockhart\r\n\r\nSpecial Thanks:\r\nJose \"Joe\" Ubach\r\nInes Piccinino\r\nAlfredo Silvarredonda<\/p>","title":"Project Hourglass"}
