Loveapple Games is Boris van Schooten (game concept, programming, graphics) and Val Jones (game concept, graphics, audio). Athena Norcia of Norcia Muziek contrubuted the violin parts. Game dev happened while Val and Boris were on vacation in a wifi blackspot in Spain and Athena was back home in Enschede suffering massive transatlantic jet lag. Athena played violin into an ancient smartphone, using Baroque tuning and strings, and gmailed the results across to Seville. Boris and Val irritated the hell out of the other guests by using the hotel bathroom as an audio recording suite. They also spent far too much time eating tapas, out-drinking the locals and working on the tan...

Cool game! It took me a while to get it but eventually I did. The graphics and audio could be improved, but apart from that good job!

I liked it but wasn't exactly sure what I was doing. I understood the mechanics but I couldn't figure out the end goal and just kept dying. But in any case, I did enjoy playing and might go back to play some more.

Good music, but could use more effects and better enemies(too slow!)

Hello! Interesting entry.

I found the gameplay fun and challenging. However, it took me some time to grasp the mechanics, and I felt I died suddenly until I realized some of them.
Also, if you get all the flames and die before you get the enemies, you are forever stuck in that level, aren't you?

Congratulations for your game, nice work!

Moves are a bit overspeeded, so it takes time to get control of it without dying at every try. But the game is working, and the theme is visible (and I like the ranbowed jump of the unicorn). By the way, it's an uncommon way to spent time on vacation ha ha :D

Nice! I love the unicorn animation! The rainbow trail is a nice effect. Plus, I fully support anyone who does game jams on holiday!

Nice idea. The execution was a little unbalanced but entertaining nonetheless.

Loved the graphics (unicorn with rainbow trailings was fun) It was difficult for me to move though. I kept wanting to use "w" to go up and space to shoot as a phoenix. Couldn't figure out how to come up for air as a mermaid. Overall though, nice entry.
