I think you may have been pressing the wrong key to shoot, but that's my fault for not making it clear how to even play the game! I could only play as player 2 in multiplayer.  Graphics and sound are good.  Nice thing to have a 2-player mode.  The enemies are not very challenging though, until you run into that enemy that shoots at you.
