PUCKETEERS OF ATLANTIS:
---------
The year 2020, and a small group of archaeologists discover Atlantis. Their happiness is overshadowed by the sheer amazement at the fact that Atlanteans are all robots, and like playing hockey with EXPLODING PUCKS™ and time-manipulating power-ups. What a weird lot.
---------
NOTE:
---------
This is a two-player game! Also you need at least one gamepad! Hook up your favourite controller and bring your favourite friend (or sworn enemy, if you're the kind of person to have one of those) and play a friendly (or enemyly) game of Atlantean Hockey! The rules are simple; score points! Use power-ups! Tackle the other team!
This game is kind of a long shot theme-wise, but we hope you'll give it a try anyway! c:
---------
SHORT POST-MORTEM NOTES:
---------
So the last LD was the first time we didn't have time for sound effects. This LD we had those, but no time for music. Always something! But at least we did something radically new with this compared to our older entries, which are overwhelmingly about puzzling, problem solving or more or less unhappy subject matters.
The matches were supposed to be timed and a winner be determined after a few minutes, but there was no time, so now the game simply goes on forever—but it does keep score, so just keep battling it out for as long as you wish instead. Make your own rules! First to 30 points, perhaps?
I am rather amazed at how we continually manage to tie everything up in a SORT OF presentable way last minute every time. It never ceases to be the scariest experience. Throw in all the sound effects during submission hour? Oh, yes!
Bugs may exist, but what can you do?

Very cool! Impressive that you made something so complete in such short time. Didn't have a friend to play with right now, but felt nice with a controller anyway. And I like the hot potato element!

Looks fun! I really need to get a gamepad :p. The only thing lacking is this playing in the background https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o20kOOwXIN8
