life

just be patient, listen to some good music and relax

it's an allegory of life in many a way,

I thoroughly hope you enjoy it. I made it rather quickly, in about 12 hours, and I guess it shows.

I used Python, if you're a linux user you should be able to run this without problem with the commands

/.life.sh
or
python main.py

I only made the bash file at the end, I recommend the python way.

On windows, if it doesn't start, try installing pygame. Though it should work without.

Any problems or feedback, just mail me at laurentvanacker@gmail.com

Oh yeah; I know the scaling of the graphics is poor.

It could use some kind of indication of where to go. Perhaps a number indicating the depth of the branch you're entering or the breadth of the tree you're in right now. Right now I feel like I don't know what I'm doing and there's no real way to master this game.

Cool concept though, but it needs work.

I like the dashed lines and the pattern they make as you move through the level :D

FYI your source version has a line "import pattern" that fails because there's pattern module. I ran the Linux version fine, though. Kind of a cool idea but the pacing is a bit slow to really be fun.

I think it's a bit of a cop out to tell your audience to put on other music while they play. That being said, I played without music, and the tacking of my mechanical keyboard was not relaxing.
