Kind of awkward in places though. These are the things I noticed.\r<br\/>\r<br\/>1) doesn't make sense that the rocks fall sideways off of things - at least there's no visual communication telling you to expect that because everything appears to be in a perfectly stacked grid. and also just avoiding the enemies and the rocks once you've made them fall is enough to think about (at least for an early level like that.)\r<br\/>\r<br\/>2) The timer could be more obvious, at first I thought I was just doing something wrong trying to get the level to progress so I kept going to the edge of the screen and dying, took me a few levels to notice the timer tucked away in a dark corner.\r<br\/>\r<br\/>That's all. Apart from that I really enjoyed it! Some sound would be nice too :)"},{"author_name":"runonthespot","author_uid":"13386","time":"May 4, 2013 @ 9:31pm","epoch":1367702760,"text":"Love this. I always preferred Dig Dug to Boulderdash, so if you feel like adding a twist to a classic digging game next time, consider Dig Dug.\r<br\/>It was quite a challenge to beat the whole game, but always reasonable. I did not understand what was going on at first, i.e. a NPC flying around with a lamp in the middle of the screens would have made it easier to grasp the concept. On the other hand, you went for minimalism so it works like this, too."},{"author_name":"gizmo","author_uid":"5900","time":"May 15, 2013 @ 7:33pm","epoch":1368646080,"text":"i love it!"},{"author_name":"Make A Game","author_uid":"5631","time":"May 18, 2013 @ 9:57am","epoch":1368870720,"text":"It's a cool game, very polished. \r<br\/>Now it rests on my browser favourites."},{"author_name":"HelkeGames","author_uid":"20522","time":"May 18, 2013 @ 7:31pm","epoch":1368905160,"text":"Nice game, love the graphic!"}],"images":["ld26\/10677-3e788eff5eea782cfbf9e7f2965540b5.jpg","ld26\/10677-bb0248ff681852b3cc984996f6a54c6c.jpg"],"links":[{"url":"https:\/\/dl.dropboxusercontent.com\/u\/73515239\/LD26\/kirakiraretro_LD26_Win_Android_Wii_Web.zip","text":"Windows\/Wii\/Web\/Android"},{"url":"https:\/\/dl.dropboxusercontent.com\/u\/73515239\/LD26\/kirakiraretro.html","text":"Web (Firefox audio)"},{"url":"https:\/\/dl.dropboxusercontent.com\/u\/73515239\/LD26\/ld26_kirakira_src.zip","text":"Source"}],"metadata":{"g_key":"27060","g_author":"10677","g_event":"LD26","g_eventkey":"16","g_subevent":"COMPO","g_urlkey":"27090","g_title":"KiraKiraRetro","g_status":"UCHK1","g_place":"323","g_commentcount":"19","g_site2_node_id":"0","g_hide":"N","g_has_icon":"Y","g_rqueue":"0","g_random":"0"},"nds":[],"node":null,"orig_images":["http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/compo2\/\/233892\/10677-shot0.png-eq-900-500.jpg","http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/compo2\/\/233892\/10677-shot1.png-eq-900-500.jpg"],"text":"Collect all diamonds and be a hero.\r\n\r\nVersions : Android (219k), Windows (166k), Wii (336k), Web (428k)\r\n\r\nWindows version is a main version.
