miNOMalism is a minimalistic food chain ecosystem simulator, with you being its lowest part. However, thanks to pheromone distribution, you can control bigger creatures and keep the races from going extinct and thus the whole ecosystem in a balance.

Controls: ARROW KEYS - move

Overview:
PLAYER - control the tiny purple creature
GOAL - don't let any race go extinct
FOOD CHAIN - reds eat yellows, yellows eat green, greens eat YOU
PHEROMONES - run through pheromone pools in the corners to attract corresponding creatures
HUNGER - each creature is either hungry or full
MATING - two full creatures of the same kind can give birth to an offspring

Great concept! It took some time figuring out. and there are numerous different ways to keep the ecosystem in balance :D

Interesting idea. I found it rather hard to make the creatures do what I want, they kept passing through each other.

Clever idea but quite difficult and easy to feel overwhelmed. A proper difficulty curve would be nice - maybe start with just green and gradually add creature species in as the game progresses?

Very interesting! It is hard to keep the others alive and sometimes hard to see who eats who

Very difficult to get them to mate. Took me a minute or so to realize I'm supposed to literally feed the green ones on myself.
