Evil Engineering is my entry for Ludum Dare 25. It's a four player game, where the goal is to build the best Doominator(tm) and be the one to destroy the world. You take turns to collect resources or to use resources. Create clones to get more turns.
Sadly, the game is not finished - I ran out of time, so no end condition is ever reached. The game is supposed to finish at round 40, at which point scores would be calculated.
I loved the idea, and I thought the art was well executed for the time constraints, but I did miss at least a little audio and some instruction on how to play would be nice! But, not super hard to figure out.
I like the art and the concept. Audio would be nice and some form of AI. It's pretty rare to have 4 people together in this setting, so being able to enjoy it as one person is imperative.
You should continue with this.
A boardgame on the computer. Looks good, and the gameplay is very intuitive.
It could maybe use an icon for instructions (and of course online multiplayer sound etc.)
Good game, but maybe too ambitious for 48 hours and you need 4 people to play, which I don't think many LD people will do when trying games.
Very good effort though!
