How to play:
Arrow keys to move, Z key for actions
As per request here are the steps to complete the game:
1. Exit the house.
2. Go the the graveyard located to the north.
3. Approach the gravestone.
4.Exit the house.
5.Go to the house to the south east end.
6.Approach the sleeping man.
7.Collect all 5 essence fragments in the maze.
Commentary:
For our jam entry we decided to take the "villain" role in a more demented direction than what we deemed cliche. The game was originally supposed to be about 5 missions long but given our time slot and the amount of work we put into the look and feel of the game, we decided to create one full level and looped it back around. Many of the scenes and features are missing from the game or had to be cut due to time constraints.

That being said, the intro is HORRIBLE. That was 3 minutes of me hammering the buttons to get to the actual game.
Make the girl walk faster maybe? Visual, music, story seems great so far and I would love to play more if you could tell us what to do in steps :)
The mood is nice, but it seems like there are just too many bugs
When I started the game, the intro text starts repeating after having read all the intro text. Then, when I got to the gravestone and press Z it says "Computer Dialog" then blanks the screen and does the knife dialog (which I'd have thought was later since I hadn't found the book yet). Went to the south east but, when I pressed z on any doors, it started the intro text again.
I followed the directions in the description, but couldn't enter any house! Too bad, I really wanted to see the ending :(
