Twas fun, but not without flaws. I think these need mentioning: I don't know why I couldn't have more than one goat on screen at a time. Also, the controls were a bit awkward, with my right hand over my left hand to pick up the goat with the right detonation time. What I would have done in regards to controls, is either be able to pick up goats with the num pad, or made arrows move. Also, I would have just had one button to pick up, and it would be set to 6 seconds. This would have created some varying difficulty, as the player would have to be efficient at getting to people further away, but relaxed when killing people nearby. Overall though, this is a nice entry."},{"author_name":"TechnoBulldog","author_uid":"3626","time":"Dec 27, 2012 @ 11:31pm","epoch":1356650760,"text":"Actually, everything that you mentioned was intentional. Of course, there are a handful of bugs or minor problems, but it was designed so that you could do everything with your left hand, no need for your right hand. The varying time affects your score, with lower time giving higher scores. We thought it would be a bit more challenging that way. And the one goat at a time part was me being lazy with the code =P"},{"author_name":"zenmumbler","author_uid":"17143","time":"Dec 30, 2012 @ 7:57pm","epoch":1356897120,"text":"Controls make this more complicated than it should have been. Here is your to-do list for today:\r\n\r\n1) Blow people up with your exploding goats.\r\n2) Laugh as they die.\r\n\r\nHow to play:\r\n\r\nMove left and right with A and D.\r\nWalk up to the goat shed and grab a goat by pressing 1 through 5.\r\nOnce you have your goat, press S to place the goat.\r\nThe number you choose determines the time on the goat's fuse.\r\n1 is a short fuse time and 5 is a long fuse time.\r\nWhen the fuse reaches zero, the goat explodes and anyone nearby gets blown up!\r\nYour objective is to blow up all of the innocent people in the level.\r\nThe lower the fuse time, the more points you get for blowing up someone.\r\nTry to get as high of a score as possible.\r\nGood luck and have fun! Don't die.\r\n\r\n(Escape is pause, by the way.)\r\n\r\n---\r\n\r\nYou may need to install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable to play.\r\n\r\n---\r\n\r\nThis game has it's own map editor. To make your own maps, see EDITOR-README.txt\r\nThe levels and level order is set in levels.txt\r\n<\/p>","title":"Dr. Ludum's Exploding Goats"}
