iota, Particle by starfeesh

iota, Particle is a game about matter. You are an elementary particle in a particle accelerator, and you need to gather the correct amount of charge to progress through various charge gates placed throughout the level. If you make your way to the detector with all of the research points, you can progress to more difficult experiments.

Controls are W/S or up/down arrows.

We chose to use UE4 to make the game, not knowing the size of the packages it would produce. We hope you'll give it a try despite this. It's slightly under 100mb.

Edit:
Removed dx10 version.

Interesting game. Definitely took a few tries to get the hang of it, as it's pretty fast paced. Looks pretty polished. Great job!

Hi, nice game ! We're realizing a video with several games of the Ludum Dare #35.
Can you add your game on indiexpo.net ? (it's free)
So we can include also your game in the video ;)
p.s. write #LDJAM in the game's description

Liked the graphics and concept, the game looked really nice. But the "tutorial" was so brutally difficult I gave up trying to figure out how to play. Also DX10 crashed for me, maybe remove that link since everyone has DX11 these days anyway?

dx 11 worked for me. The graphics is nice, but gameplay is hard and seems to be pretty much luck-based.

It's just... confusing... The tutorial wasn't very helpful, I still don't understand the basic mechanics.

I feek like it's very unbelievably hard but at the same time I keep trying and trying, so I guess that's good? ! I really like the take on this one :)
