made by TomPugh1112 for LD35 (JAM)
Embark on an epic quest to dominate the world and rid it of troublesome monsters. Get the kills, get the loot and don't die!

Never the same experience twice. Guaranteed.

FREE TIPS!!
1. WATCH YOUR STAMINA! You'll slow down if it runs out.

2. BE WARY OF WEIGHT! Heavier equipment makes you slower.

3. HEAL UP! Only way to heal is to increase your vitality, so use your points sparingly.

4. TREASURE! Boss monsters drop treasure, but they are tougher and bigger.

5. COMMENT! If you find any problems in the game, leave a comment and it'll be fixed.

Touching a monster made me slow down too much and die instantly when I had no charge for my sword. Otherwise cool, lots of monsters and places to go!

Really nice! Had a lot of fun with this game and the fact that there's a monster called "Wurm" made me laugh a little. Solid entry!

Good game, it was quite hard at times which made it hard to progress but otherwise I liked it.

I thoroughly enjoyed this game; I would maybe flesh out the combat system some more, maybe with directional attacks of some sort. Also, I would have an option to show your final stats after you die.

Very cool, I loved the world map a lot!

Some thoughts:

Sometimes, when entering a battle, a monster appears just by my side, hurting me, and there is nothing I can do about it. Check and spawn monsters while considering a "safe zone" radius around the player.

When you run out of stamina you practically die. You are so slow in that state that any monster around will catch you up and butcher you.

Great entry!

Nice game. I like that the map is procedurally generated! The fights tend to get repetitive, though. Good music!

There are some interesting aspects for sure. Unfortunately, I found the controls - especially the attacks - quite lacking. I didn't really get how to hurt the enemies as the sword hit them and pushed them back slightly... but no damage most of the time.

The procedural generation of the maps, however, was really cool.

The slowness was too long when you ran out of "energy." The game was pretty fun but there were lots of enemies just for the starting fight that it took a while to get back to where you were each time you died.

Tough game, there was no way to run away after getting touched by an enemy. Nice take on the theme.

Nice random map generation. Lots of potential here, it just needs some work on the combat system. Swinging the sword feels extremely slow and I seem to get stunlocked to death by level 1 enemies.

Difficult, punishing and, overall, fun. I could play it for hours. Death is painful, but the animation is pretty good. Well done :)
