Solid game. Difficulty could've ramped up quicker as the game progressed.

The music reminds me of an old game boy game for some reason : ) the black enemies are a little tough to see!

That was pretty fun, and cool music! Did you use a navmesh & navmesh obstacles for the enemy navigation?

Fun. Audio was pretty solid, graphics were clean and intuitive (though the walls being made from the same bubbles as everything else had me wondering for half a sec).

Wasn't expecting to be thrown into the action this fast though, was totally off-balance on my first playthrough. Title screens are important! Even if they're only the title in plain letters and a play button, it gives the player a feeling of control over the pacing of the game, which can affect first impressions a fair amount.

In any case, it was a good experience. Good job!

@jasonalighieri I actually used the Unity Movement AI library found here https://github.com/antonpantev/unity-movement-ai

The AI logic in that is much simpler than a full blown nav mesh but I think it worked out well.

That thumbnail gif is awesome. :D Such a satisfying game, popping the bubbles and watching them regenerate. I found it pretty difficult at first but I eventually wound up with a score of 152 enemies killed and 3750 bubbles popped. I love the color palette you chose, it's subdued but feels very poppy and vibrant at the same time. The sound is simple and serves its purpose well, and the music is cute and bubbly too. Fun game!

Nice colors, fun, fluid. Bullets felt powerful; would have liked to shoot in a direction different from my movement.
