Call of Booty by xandrew
*** WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO PLAY THIS GAME WITH FRIENDS. ***
This is a multiplayer game, and while it works perfectly well with just one player it gets much more fun (and competitive!) with friends or other people.
*** ALTERNATIVELY You can open up another browser window and play with yourself! (No pun intended) ***

You and your fellow scallywags have docked at Port Peace.
Use the arrow keys to chase down the villagers, and the 'Z' key to slice and plunder them for all their gold!
But you must hurry and return to your ship before it sets sail without you! Or risk losing all yer booty.

About The Game
--------------------------
This is a multiplayer based game. The servers can hold up to 5 people at once. I'm not based anywhere near America so if another server needs to go up in another part please leave a comment!
The goal is to plunder as many villagers and seamen and collect their coins. The ship is being bombarded by cannon fire so there is a time limit. Once the time limit is reached - if you aren't on the ship then you're left for dead!

@Manest - Because you are an evil villain you enter the town and start pillaging/killing all the townfolk and sailors, who drop coins. Before your ship leaves (the time limit) you need to return to your ship - else all your work was for nothing!
@oldtopman - Technically when the time runs out the game is over ;) but yeah time constraints had us working on other things. You do however keep all your coins if you return to the ship!
It's online because it's a multiplayer game! So gather your friends or another browser window!
(Node.js was absolutely incredible while making this. socket.io allows streaming data to and from server and client and made developing this a breeze (ish...).
The entire application (client and server) was done in javascript - so node.js was the server. (I don't know if I could have done a multiplayer game in any other language as fast as I did with node).
