This is fantastic, and I'm sorry you haven't had more comments yet!
Great to see some node.js work in here - I'll send this on to some nodey friends of mine - they'll enjoy it.

@enfyrneaux When you die you watch the rest of the game in spectator mode, if you ended up there without dying then that's a problem.

had a problem on one of my computers 'Connection lost', and before that, always a javascript alert [event Object] or sth. Might have been because that computer is behind a proxy. Tested on my mac, and it worked

Waiting for connection for 15 minutes...:/
Sounds good though. I'll tried later

I would have liked to use the keyboard to control my rotation, otherwise nice work.

Hmm... I'll need to look into the connection errors when I get back home. For now I've fixed the error reporting, so if you got [event Object] then you should try again and report back what it says. Thanks for all the feedback, those of you that could play!

Also, I think the server is trying to delete the data of those who are erroring and therefore breaking the game for everyone else, so I'm gonna add a few sanity checks to the server.

Fixed server bugs and bugs where the music desyncs and really messes with the gameplay.

It was definitely a cool and interesting game. A bit hard to get the hang out of at first, but nice to play anyways. :) The 30-second waiting screen was a bit obnoxious and I had to click away to avoid looking at it. Otherwise the game looked awesome! Great job!

Love the graphics/atmosphere, and the gameplay is a fun twist on rhythm gaming. A bit tough at first, and the 30 second wait is kind of annoying, but the possibility of cooperative play is pretty neat

The 30 second wait was so you could pull together a bunch of people to playthrough a whole sitting, but I never managed to make the game long enough to justify it.

All I got was a filled (past bounds) loading bar with some music playing.
Browser is Firefox 17.0.1.

Overall this game was great. It was a little difficult to get used to but was still fun to play nonetheless. I think having an offline mode would be really good here, so players can avoid the 30 second wait if they want a solo match. Congratulations on a great game and good luck in the future.
