Escape Velocity by Suyo
And here's my product of three hours of work.
This is a local multiplayer game, where two players engage in a duel of reactions and button mashing. One person needs to escape the castle, while the other tries to launch fireballs at them, slowing them down and maybe even stopping their attempt completly. Whoever gets farther, or is faster, wins the game.
Player 1's Tap Key is C, and the keys they need for the fireballs are Q W E R A S D and F. The controls for Player 2 are N for tapping and U I O P H J K and L for reactions.
Press the keys shown next to the fireballs to attack or defend. The escaping player needs to press the keys on the left of the ball, the defender the right ones.
If you are the escaping player, rapidly hit the Tap Key to speed up and destroy a few fireballs before they even enter the play area.

I think what I saw was that if a player defended a fireball, HP is not decreased when it hits. Would've been nice to see the fireball explode before it hit you if you defended it.
Might be annoying on some keyboards that don't respond to multiple keystrokes. You can generally assume 2 keys at once will work, but that's about it.
