REVERSE SLENDER by InfN555

[raw]
made by InfN555 for LD25 (COMPO)
An Android app, based off the Slender game.

For anyone who is tired of being chased around by the Slenderman, be the villain and chase the player around!

To use this app, go on http://beta.appinventor.mit.edu/ and login with a Google account.
Go to "Invent", (and then "Projects" if it does not take you there automatically).
Go to "More Actions" and select "Upload Source" (not keystore!)
Upload the file downloaded from the SECOND LINK (the "Android Source")
Click on the project (called LudumDare25) and open the "Blocks Editor"
Once it is loaded, click on "Connect to Device"
Select WiFi if you have an Android phone.
Open an emulator first if not.

Follow the instructions on the screen, and scare the living daylights out of the player!

If your screen is too small, you may need to scroll down to see the whole game.

NOTE: If you wish to directly download, use the first link. I have no idea how to run it, though.

No idea what I just played, how I was supposed to play it, or how I lost, but okay.

The gameplay is a bit vague, and I can't read all the text in the dark times, as the screen flickers too fast to dark/light. Interesting gameplay approach, I managed to complete the game.

Tip: give a direct link to your .apk, when I download it with my phone I can immediately install. And/or generate a QR code so I can scan on screen, and install directly using QR Droid.

Android link seems to go to Deviant Art site so couldn't play? Sorry. Good idea to use app-inventor though :-)

I cannot see the whole screen, and it doesn't make sense why, it is smaller than my resolution but it is still cut off..

It's hard to understand how to play, I thought I was winning but when Sanity went down to 0 it made me lose. (Wasn't I supposed to make the player lose its sanity?) Other than that, it's a good idea! I've had some fun while chasing the player, too bad the mechanisms weren't clear enough.

I killed the player!

At least I think that's what I was supposed to do. So I guess I win. :)

Maybe?

It's not really clear what you are supposed to do or how. Why does the player lose sanity sometimes and not others? Am I supposed to kill the player?
