Mad Goat by Ret44
I'm not proud of this one, because it suppose to be compo entry, but because I'd found major, gamebreaking bug in about 10 minutes before submission deadline, I've decided to leave it, and try to fix it again next day. Unfortunely, I still didn't manage to cover all major things (like proper endgame, instead of silly text), and bugs. But I still hope you gonna have fun on this (very short) one. So let me introduce to you: Mad Goat.

Feedback
The music is very cool!
Hey it's quite fun, indeed a bit buggy but still fairly playable. I liked the graphics and how everything can be used as a platform to jump on! Otherwise it's a bit hard as the enemies all jump like crazy and the boss seems to kill me in one shot, but it has this Metal Slug feel that's quite cool.
Tiny advice: shooting lacks feedback, especially when you're in the middle of 100 soldiers. A flash at the tip of your gun/louder gun sound effects/an reaction when enemies are getting hit would make the game much more satisfying to play.
However, if the little guys were somewhat easier to kill, and also a bit more dangerous, it would have more of a Contra feel. This game has great pacing and has some good potential.
The graphics are good and I really liked the intro/splash screen. Music is cool and the sound effects are decent.
Controls are good, but as mentioned movement and jumping feels way too fast.
I'm not sure what's up with the boss thing at the end. I just got to it and insta-won. Maybe my bullets had been hitting him for a long time before I could see him on screen?
Oh well, great work!
