The basic idea is good, the implementation is simple but nice. However, there are lots of things you can continue to improve here. You should have more levels and more mechanics added for this game to become better. For a first LD it's fairly good.

Nice, simple game, you really have to nseak around slowly to catch the damn cute kid. A decent first entry, Nice sound effect in there with the floor creaking, added to the atmosphere. Could do with more polish but overall a nice interpretation of the theme and well done for completing a game in 48 hours!

The basic idea is cool - I had a hard time navigating around. I would have liked the ability to resee what was happening or something similar.

Nice idea, I would make so that the torch give you a quick preview of the level once again, just to refresh your mental map of it.

For me (Win7-64/Chrome) the web link opens up a Dropbox download manager.

The best way to hotlink from Dropbox is get the "public link" to the game's .html file, remove the "s" from the "https" it gives you, and then use bit.ly or something to shorten it.

Nice idea, but it was as if the kid knew I was there for lots of those levels. He turns his light on the moment I walk in front of him -- not very convincing. Fairly easy to beat, so it was a little boring. I did enjoy it, though.

Once again, thanks you all guys.
I didn't have enough time to implement the torch correctly but yeah the idea is to light a part of the room and refresh the player mental map of the scene.

@EatenAlive3 the kid turns the light on when the player do some noise, for example when you hit something in the room or when you walk on some wooden floor (you can't see wooden floor but you hear it when you walk on it).

@mikemacdee I'm working on it ;)

the first "tock" when my villain hit the wall really scared me, cause i didn't expect sound :D maybe a "swoosh" of the villain while he's moving and some terrifying noises of the mean kid would be nice! overall a fine game for your first LD!

Nice idea. It was too easy and too simplistic though. Keep working!

@Pierrec: if you refer to the link web, i've tried but i can't make a proper link. But you can download it and play.
