SeedStory by Saturnyn

[raw]
made by Saturnyn for LD24 (JAM)
A game about weather, dance and plantigrades.

I wrote a post mortem here:http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/2012/08/28/seedstory-post-mortem/

The goal of the game is to make a seed sprout and grow into a plant. This is achieved by controlling the weather with tribal dances.

You control two characters, one with WSAD and the other with the arrows. (If using both hands messes with your brain, like it does with me, you can also use the mouse to control them.)

Move each character above a cloud stone in order to perform a rain dance. Same thing with the sun.

Avoid the bears.

// Edit: I put the game on Kongregate with one post-contest // update: you can now retry when losing on a level.

I liked the graphics.
I was a little confused at first, didn't realize I had to move them to separate stones.

Pretty fun once I figured out how it worked. A plantigrade ate me! This would be better if dying once didn't restart the whole game.

I like the artwork a lot. The gameplay got a little tedious, but overall very nicely done. It would definitely benefit from some audio.

Looks nice, but definitely requires to play with someone. I was lost trying to mave them together :)

I like! Maybe the icons should move each time you activate a pair, as I found myself jumping between the same suns and clouds.

I like the bear... unexpected! :)
