Breuoakt by Dan C
I was originally going to make a C64 game for the main competition, but unfortunately I screwed up something important and couldn't finish.
So, I threw this together in the last few hours on Monday for the jam, completely ignoring the theme.
It's not really finished and is missing a major feature I wanted to include, but it's playable and kind of fun.
Enjoy!

Did you take any graphical cues from the Juice It or Lose It video? The wobbling effect reminded me of that, but easily a coincidence since they are both breakout games already :p
I think I've used to read so bad handwriting (my own) that the text quality didn't bother me at all. Didn't even think that it bothers someone that much, so good point there too.
This game has kinda "been seen before", the gravity mechanic added some extra to it, but not that much. I liked the "Awwww" sound. Sometimes the framerate would experience small hiccups, which were really fatal considering how smooth the mouse movements have to be in order for you to hit the ball.
