Mad Dog Evolution by Stavu

[raw]
made by Stavu for LD24 (JAM)
An innocent walk with your dog, Skippy, has turned into a hellish ride, when he decided to eat some weird stuff off of the floor.

Use the up and down arrow keys to control the hero. Avoid obstacles such as planes, garbage cans and flying sheep, and collect as many bones as you can.

The vaccine shots (appear later in the game) will reverse Skippy's mutation, but not for long...

Oh man, stupid but fun game with a lot of humor. Theme is attracted with ears... There is one problem with enemies visiblity. It's hard to see them on the background. I mean airplanes. They must be more contrast to background. On other hand maybe it is the games challenge, I don't know.

Is it possible to actually convert the dog back to it's initial state after collecting enough syringes?

I got 74 bones :)
Fun game with unique ideas, but the enemies could differ a bit more, maybe shoot something at you? Also, the difference between final Skippy and near-final Skippy is too small to make the vaccine shots important in my opinion.

Awesome game! I got past 1000m with 50-something bones.

Loved the graphics. My favorite was the different Skippy stages, very cool. I also liked how the dog could avoid obstacles -- not a bad way to notify the player of the upcoming territory. Although flying Skippy doesn't need to avoid planes..? I kind of expected the angle of the leash to constrain or affect the player's movement.

Also loved the mischievous tinkling-piano music. Good work, a great jam game.

Love the open-eye-expression on the dog :).

Also, nice intro. Short, efficient, to the point.

It was a bit on the easy side, I also wasn't sure what the syringes were till I looked at the help screen.
