This was my first LD entry. and my first time in a gamejam by myself. I did a gamejam with some friends at school but doing this alone is so much harder, but still fun.
All code was done from scratch use Adobe Flash CS4 AS3. I included the public TweenLite library thinking I would use it but ended up not using it after all.

Interesting Tower Defense. I liked the Paint-style art.

Graphics is a little bit confusing for me. But I like TD games.

Hadn't played a tower defense game that spawns units before. The addition of the Faith abilities as well as the towers was nice. Always left me with something to do.

Haha, loved this. Playing from the opposite side to the evolutionists was a great idea. And it's fun to play! It's also pretty well-balanced, surprisingly so. But by now I have enough units to be pretty much invincible :(
The art was great. I laughed when I saw that you were defending heaven...
Great little game, all in all. Good work! A win-condition might be a valuable addition though (after X number of waves defeated or something would do)

It's a solid base for a tower defense game but there is no end or more levels, I guess you didn't have enough time! Still liked it though and the soldiers are pretty well drawn :) The idea itself is funny too!

Fun but gets easy too quickly - I like the way the units spawn and attack and think this would make a good first level in a game on a larger scale with more levels and unit types - something like Revenge of the Titans.

ya was doing this by myself and when time was almost up i only got the chance to make the assets for the 1 wave. to make the game at least not feel totally short i made it loop forever thus not having a win screen. i'll probably make more levels after the results. doing so is already implemented it's just a matter of making the art. thanks for the feed back!

Well, a game with DINOSAURS is always a tad more cooler than a game without them :-)

The interface was a bit confusing, maybe you should have made the gold indicator stand out a bit more. Also, I could not tell the difference between a warrior and an archer.

Tower defense games aren't my cup of tea, but I enjoyed this. I found the graphics and menus to be a bit confusing.

Pretty fun, but I didn't like being immediately launched into the gameplay. Maybe just a title screen with a quick set of instructions? And some audio. Nice job though.

Fun concept (dinosaurs and templars). The game was interesting, although it seemed a little easy - I never lost a church, and my knights stayed mostly healthy. I couldn't discern a difference between when I clicked on the bow and when I clicked on the sword - were those supposed to be different units? They seemed to behave the same. Anyway, it was fun; I'd have liked to see separate levels or some more challenge, or maybe plot elements or something - it feels like a good but unfinished idea.

Liked the TD mechanics with additional intervention, a bit too easy as other pointed out. Would have also liked some sounds :)

Nice one! Can't go wrong with dinosaurs :) I would improve graphics a little, that's all. Game plays smoothly.

This works pretty well! I agree, the graphics could be improved, but mainly just by adding animation. sound would be awesome as well. Also, thanks for checking out my game! I really appreciate the feedback!

Nice fun lo-fi TD game, but I feel like it it should be a little more challenging, as it wasn't very challenging.

Also after playing the SFW version I'd like to play the NSFW version... :)

my first Towerdefense in this Ludumdare.

A little strange at first, but i enjoyed it later.
But maybe a bit too easy, after i created some of these guys I had nothing to do anymore :D

I thought for a minute you had the same idea as I had. There was quite more to it than I first thought.
I started the jam in Flash Cs4 as well, but coding is a nightmare. I would suggest using FlashDevelop, maybe with exported swc's. Nice use of the theme.
The game didn't look very good, but I think that if you make all the graphics in the same style it would already be a lot better. And you could expand on enemies, troops etc. Good for a first try I think.
