TO RUN THE GAME: Head to the links provided below. On Windows there's already a "fishy.exe" within: unzip the repo somewhere and run that EXE! (On other platforms, you'll need to open the project in Unity and build for your target platform.)
This ended up actually being more like a 15 hour game jam - I joined up way too late. It's playable, but *just* barely. My first time using Unity - it's a fun platform once you get the hang of it!
Spin around other fish and touch them from behind to "eat" them and gain points. Eat yellow pellets to "evolve" and move faster.
TERRIBLE KNOWN BUG: After you die once, the bounding box checking whether you touched an enemy fish from behind stops working. I ran out of time while trying to resolve this... so try to get as far as you can on a single life, or restart if you die! Ha!

Hmm... on a more thorough playthrough, I found that the problem with the collision going away wasn't just happening on respawn. If you can't eat a fish... um... they're poison fish! Yeah, that's it! ^_^;;

I liked the game but to improve the mood you should add some kind of nackground music. Overall good effort!!

Hmm. It would have been better with sound. I think if you made a post compo version it would be cool. Any plans for a post compo?
