Nice idea, but it seems a shame the level is so short - there wasn't any time to ramp up the challenge, and explore the different uses of the various evolutions. The choice of the first evolution is countered by having to pick up wall jumping either way :(

Fun, but way too short.

The idea is good but the game is too short to fully exploit the gameplay.

Pretty cool that you choose between different evolutions and how that impacts the gameplay, but the level is far too short to explore it properly.

Nice, but short.

Controls are a bit abrupt! Probably needs a little inertia, and the double jump sometimes stops and you just levitate across the air - which is cool, but not what was supposed to happen I guess! :)

The tank is FIERCE!! Full on stream of hot lead! I like!

I would have made the choice box work with the keys. Didn't seem right to have to use the mouse at that point.

Was expecting a second level. I mean, you did have a whole 48 hours... ;)

I made it to the end though, so that's a good sign!

I liked the idea, with a bit more content it could be really good.

Good idea, couldn't get the 2nd mutation to work though, how do you go invisible? Fits the theme really well

@SecondDimensio: You activate the second ability by pressing either 1 for invisibility or 2 for killing a nearby enemy.

Ah OK thanks, I'll give it another go. Think my link is fixed now too by the way

Very funny man!!! The idea is great to create an awesome map. The level design can be improved but as a prototype is well.
(I play the game 2 times =D)

Hey, you were right, I played your game and the idea seemed somehow familiar. :P

I really liked the wall jump ability.
As many others already mentioned it's too short.
Anyway a good game.

I really liked the concept and the physics seemed working. You could have made some pretty cool multiple-path based levels

Short but sweet. Effective graphics.

Thanks for all the feedback so far - it has confirmed my view of the game.

The lesson I learned is that it is really important to give the player enough room to explore the game mechanics you just taught them. And also that you should have a playable version before you program every feature you want in the final game.
(And that collision programming in Game Maker sucks!)

If you find anything else I should keep in mind next time - please tell me!

As mentioned, the game's concept was pretty nice, but incredibly short.

What I did really like is that there was (more or less) multiple ways to go about the level depending on the abilities you evolve. I think this is something you can really explore more.

I like it, despite the length. It's a very nice idea.

Fun game. I liked the idea that you could choose your powers too. Shame it was so short, though.

nice. confirming what's been said so far, more focus on level design would've been needed to acually have something to play

I got a bit excited how this game is going to work out, and was pleased by the presentation of the story.
But then the game was just over. I can't believe this is what you were going for, it feels a lot like you run out of time - I can't even see the sun as you promised?
Otherwise, you had cool gameplay ideas. Sound, music and graphics were okay.
Are you planning to extend the game?

Are you suppose to stuck on walls? And the text is off sometimes on the abbility selection screen. Oh, and why I need to let go of the mouse? Or why I have to use it? This is a bad control design.

Very short and not so challenging, but it's a game.
