Like games I used to play (and write) on Commodore PETs and TRS-80's. It was fun to watch the population grow, and I liked the names. It would be more fun if the simulation was more interactive, and if you could do something positive, instead of only picking how to screw your dudes over. Fun, though, and obviously there's a good bit of math and code behind it."},{"author_name":"jovoc","author_uid":"34","time":"Aug 30, 2012 @ 6:22am","epoch":1346307420,"text":"This was pretty neat. I do wish it was more visual, even an ascii-art or curses representation of the ecosystem. I also had trouble understanding what effect my choices were having on the game. Good take on the theme, would love to see this expanded on further."},{"author_name":"Qaterknan","author_uid":"11181","time":"Aug 30, 2012 @ 9:06am","epoch":1346317260,"text":"The game closed itself after about 10000 ticks. Very outside the box, I like it - it feels like there is a lot of depth to it. I didn't really figure out how to consistently win - it felt fairly random to me - but I feel that with more time and some digging through your code, I'll figure things out more.\r<br\/>\r<br\/>Overall, this is an excellent entry into the contest!
