I really think you did something with the theme nobody else did, so big points for that. It worked well too! The ever-repeating cycle makes it easy to gradually improve your survival strategy. The possibility to run off-screen was a bit confusing, I was not also able to make a relation between the food you consume and a hearth-bar (how much did I need to consume in order to survive?).
