Evolving Situation by Tangent128

[raw]
made by Tangent128 for LD24 (JAM)
Debugging the scripts pushed this over the timelimit, so submitting to Jam instead.

I chose to interpret the theme as an "evolving situation", and was subsequently inspired by Die Hard 2.

The intent was to make a Grow-style game where you introduce elements to the world that interact in different ways depending on the order you introduce them in. It turned out rather less elaborate than I hoped, but the engine is a promising start for something completely different in the future.

Lol, quite a funny and original little game :) It's a bit of simulation I guess.

Hah, kind of funny, but a bit too simple. Nice idea though!

really realy too simple and quick! more level or more complexity would have been nice! But it's a nice mini-game!

Alas, I'm not very good at doing things quickly yet... and am still learning design tricks for scripting objects, some mistakes made coordinating the actors harder than it should have been. My original plan was more complex, but I decided finishing something was my top priority :P

But if you like the concept, I was inspired by this guy: http://www.eyezmaze.com/

Enjoyed it for the short time it lasted. But as you say, you have something to build on for a game in the future, so well done there! Definitely a nice idea for the game. Has some potential. Thanks!
