UNBOUND by LPGhatguy

UNBOUND is a story spanning two time periods: July of 1963 and the summer of 1993. Enticed by a myth about a man named Daniel McArthur, you, a curious journalist, venture into what remains of the Daniel McArthur's last reported assignment.

In this game, I took a different approach to "evolution" -- here, it is mental evolution. Your emotions may evolve similarly to how Daniel's did.

Use WASD to move, hold left shift to sprint, and click on notes to read them. Read every note you find, they are important.

The story should take no longer than 10 minutes to complete. I would appreciate it if you finish it if at all possible.

This was rather cool. Very lovecraft like, but I was also expecting something from the The SCP Foundation. I'm almost sad something wasn't chasing me or jumping out at me!

Excellent mood!

There's not much "game" to it.

Really atmospheric, good graphics and sound. But that's not enough - where was the gameplay? What's the challenge?

Also: could've done with a bit more evolution, I don't buy mental evolution :P

Not really a game, but pretty good story.

Points for mood. Evolution was very subtle--a bit too artistically abstract for my taste, but the mood really helped it. Now, a question: Why did you feel the need to hijack my cursor and replace it with a pointer sixteen times as sensitive?

Josh @ Dreamland:
I never had the cursor issue on any of the systems I tested on (Windows XP, Vista, 7, and 8 of every edition) Do you have any sort of unusual sensitivity settings on your system?

Nice story, but i don't like the gameplay of a maze with some paper to read in it..

Gameplay sucks, seems like a Minecraft story.

Meh, the "gameplay" was annoying...
The story was good, though.
