The levels were then unlocked in a varying order depending on the available upgrades - as you unlocked abilities the game unfolds in different ways. Sort of had an evolutionary feel to it, in a not-so-strict sense.\r\n\r\nUltimately didn't have time to implement that, so I auto-unlock abilities as you progress.
