I am not going to put instructions here, but rather, let people figure it out. There is a win condition and I am interested if anyone is bored enough to see it!
Light on the theme, and a bit abstract. But it's a game, I made it in 48 hours, and I like it. Web version is available now; additional builds/media will be available sometime tomorrow.
I guess I missed the window for the regular competition? I swear that in the past there was a grace period for making the submission itself; but the option isn't there. Oh well I guess.

The objective of the game is to evolve the cube. After a certain amount of time, cubes on the larger cube will start flashing. Clicking on the flashing cubes breaks them up and sends them to the orbiting nodes. At any time, you can click on an orbiting node to transfer the cube energy inside of it to the main cube.
Clicking the flashing cubes fast enough, and without clicking non-flashing cubes, will start a combo (Shown in the upper left). Higher combos increases the rate at which cubes start to flash. It's 5 cubes per multiplier, and you have 5 seconds between cubes before the multiplier resets. Hitting a non-flashing cube resets your combo.
I had intended to put a time element in the game so that there's some point/competition but it's not in there, maybe use a stopwatch? ;) It's a silly game anyway, but it was fun to make and maybe with some love it could become something greater.

I feel a bit stupid after playing and still not understand. All those years at university didn't help at all :)
